Pour deep, hazy gold into a stein. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Golden syrup and tart apple aromas. Soft with apple spice cake, straw and multigrain upfront turning to dried apple skin in the lasting finish.

Can at home in the garden, 28th July 24. Pours a fairly clear golden orange. Aroma is pithy, light resin. Taste is clean, resin, pith, bittersweet, very drinkable and balanced, but I expected a bit more given the high rating overall

16 ounce can. Barely hazy yellow gold pour. Frothy white head. Faint bready malt aroma has fruity notes. Light, tangy fruit flavors upfront. A hint of lemon and orange. Definitely light in body and flavor. But decent for the style. I could see myself putting a few of these down while digging my toes into the warm Wildwood sand!

Nitro at the brewery, 7/5/24. Clear, black. Beige head, creamy, full. Fresh mineral and easygoing unmalted barley. Clean, aromatic, not over-roasted. Soft, rich, malty, but drying and thinning in the finish properly, adding to drinkability. Mineral and base malt with very tasteful amounts of darker malts/barley. Excellent minerality and water quality.

Brewery draught, 7/5/24. Clear brass-maize. White head quickly to partial cover. Sweaty, piney, stinky but not resinous. Ample malt showing white bread and biscuit. The pine is not out of control. Piney character with fuzzy, acidic bitterness and pine and wood lingering. Not as bad as that sounds and actually well-balanced by the ample malt depth. Good attenuation and a nice change of pace from NE style without going too overboard on the WC characteristics.

6 oz draft. Aroma is a ton of blood orange. Flavor follows with hints of pine and floal bouquet. Dead flowers doesn’t overwhelm. Subtle. Bitterness is low. Overall, soft and easy to drink.
