Black stout, big head of big bubbles. Aroma of buttery Cinnabon/cacao, smells like Grandma's house. Can had almost exploded in the plane, bulged out like a beluga whale. Too carbonated, if you swirl it hard to reduce the carbonation it sounds like pop rocks! Nicely balanced with cinnamon, very tasty.

Can from huskertan, thanks: pours black with brown head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and hints of booze. Taste is rather sweet without being too cloying. Very clear vanilla and caramel flavors. Bitterness is low. Body is thick, chewy and creamy. Aftertaste is chocolatey and actually a little dry. Quite good.

Aroma shows soft maple, light bourbon, moderate coffee. Alcohol shows a little bit, but the flavor is awesome. Mild lingering bourbon, coffee, chocolate. Really great!!

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into snifter, no can dating. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a small dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted marshmallow, vanilla, cream, fudge, brownie batter, roasted nuts, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, tobacco, leather, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, toasted marshmallows, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted marshmallow, vanilla, cream, fudge, brownie batter, roasted nuts, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, tobacco, leather, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, peppery hops; and roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted marshmallow, vanilla, cream, fudge, brownie batter, roasted nuts, biscuit, dark bread/crust, molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, toasted marshmallows, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a fantastic roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying/acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 13%. Overall this is a fantastic flavored Russian imperial stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, toasted marshmallows, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the mildly bitter/charred/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel. Extremely rich and decadent balance of malts and toasted marshmallow flavors; with nice earthy hop presence/balance, and mild fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing dessert style example as expected.

Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an excelent biere de garde. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish; great soft feel. Well rounded Belgian yeast complexity with rich Munich malts, and balancing earthy hops. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. No complaints.

Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.8%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Great Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo & Citra profile. Very vibrant and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing pale/wheat malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering and well made style example. Kind of odd that it gushed with being as fresh as it was, but there weren't any infection off notes.
