Sampled at the brewery alongside HuskerTan and MetalNHopHead. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is lemon zest, funk, wood type essence, minerals.

Has a subtle brett, funk, oak, mineral hints, light lemon tartness. Medium body. This brew shows a solid amount of character. I would happily drink this again.

Sampled at the brewery alongside HuskerTan and MetalNHopHead. Orange body with an ample white head. Big bubbles. Smells of tropical fruits and some Belgian yeastiness.

Light citrus hops. Tastes much yeastier. Still has a combination of citrus and tropical fruits. Light peppery finish. Medium low carbonation. Good.

Sampled at the brewery alongside HuskerTan and MetalNHopHead. Clear golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is grainy with subtle hops, Belgian yeast and light fruitiness.

Grainy with light fruitiness, herbal notes and not much else. Light body. Medium carbonation. Moderately dry and grainy finish. Clean. Easy drinking Grisette. Pretty much what it should be.

Draft. A- Toasted coconut, chocolate, subtle rum. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Coconut, chocolate, almond joy, mild sweetness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The barrel aging seems minimal although there is a touch of rum, just not much bourbon. Still damn good though. Lots of toasted coconut and chocolate and not too sweet either. I can’t say enough good about this beer. Easily up there with other coconut stouts, like Ballast Point Coconut Victory at Sea and Oskar Blue Death by Coconut. Really good stuff. These guys do stouts very very well.

Draft. A- Wheat, black pepper, citrus, slightly dank. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Mild pine, medium bitterness, slight pepper. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Decent. Felt almost like a mix between a pale ale, wheat ale, and saison. When I think of hoppy wheats I think of Boulevard 80 Acre and this wasn’t quite that but it was good in it’s own unique way.

Draft. A- Banana, bubblegum, wheat, subtle spice. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Bubblegum, banana, mildly sweet, Belgian yeast. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The phenols definitely give off that bubblegum and banana notes. Would personally like a bit more spice, perhaps some black pepper, but otherwise not bad.

Draft. A- Wheat, citrus, Belgian yeast. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Medium bitterness, floral, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Pretty well balanced. Doesn’t come off as all IPA or all Belgian ale. You get that Belgian yeast strain and a bit of bitterness but one doesn’t over take the other. Maybe not the best IPA, but certainly not bad.

Draft. A- Floral, citrus. A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Dusty, floral, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Interesting. It’s a bit different. A bit of a dusty and musty flavor but drinks easy. I’m honestly not sure if I like this as much as the regular Rollo but I appreciate the local effort.

Draft. A- Floral, nutty, slightly bland. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Nutty, bready, malty, subtle caramel. P- Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Okay. Lots of nuttiness and a touch dry. You don’t see this style brewed a lot, but this is definitely one of the better takes on the style. Hell, maybe even better than Anchor Steam and that beer put this style on the map.

Draft. A- Brett, funky, subtle barnyard. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grilled bread, funky, oak, mild tartness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, funky. O- The perfect amount of funk. A really nice balance, and although I don’t get a lot of unique flavors, it’s quite tasty. I’m really not sure what all to point out in this one. Nice though.
