Draft, 4 ounce sample glass at the brewery. Appearance is a crystal clear gold. Aroma is bright with citrus, melon pulp, and subtle hints of pine. Real fresh. The flavor is a carbon copy of the aroma. Has a light malty backbone with plenty of grapefruit, melon, and a bit of resin. Clean drinking with a lingering light bitterness.
Well above average in my opinion. I can see why they choose to can this. It makes a nice flagship IPA.

Draft, 4 ounce sample glass at the brewery. Appearance is pitch black without any head. The aroma is silly... Vanilla ice cream comes across in a bold manner. Hints of milk, and sugar.
Flavor no doubt has ice cream and maybe a mild roasted backbone. Lactose sugar is not hidden. The ice cream comes across just as strong in the flavor. Honestly, this is not a novelty beer. The body is full and rich with a creamy smooth texture over the palate. If you enjoy dessert stouts this one hits the spot. But drinking more than one pint might be too overwhelming.

Draft, 4 ounce sample glass at the brewery. Appearance is a purple/ violet color with thin bubbles of head. Aroma is very mild flowers, dusty yeast, wheat notes.
The flavor displays several light nuances. Again another subtle adjunct in a saison from this Brewer; hibiscus is mild, yeast is present, flower element is low. Texture comes off lightly dry with a medium body. Mouthfeel is good with a lower carbonation level. Everything about this brew works for me. No one ingredient overpowers the other.

The fruit is super delicate. Yeast is subtle and fruit compliments the yeast. The yeast show a very mild funky element under the fruit. All of the ingredients are subtle and work well together. I could drink large amounts of this brew.

Draft, 4 ounce sample glass at the brewery. Smells is awesome; Belgian farmhouse with straw and grass, and notes of dusty wheat. Flavor is grainy malts, Belgian yeast, dusty straw and subtle hops. Effervescent mouthfeel.
I like the old school way the Brewer filtered this ale through the straw bales. It doesn't get anymore rustic than that. I feel like I just worked a 12 hour day on the farm ( in 1895) and this is the table beer we are enjoying at the kitchen table.

Draft. A- Chocolate, cream. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Chocolate, milky, slight booze, slightly roasty, subtle caramel. P- Full body, thick and creamy texture, average carbonation, slightly boozy finish. O- A big beer for sure. You feel every bit of it but at the same time it’s so easy to drink. It’s as thick as a milkshake. Naturally they use this for a base beer for some of their other stuff and I can definitely see why.

Draft. A- Barnyard, straw, cat pee. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Bitter, dry, subtle citrus. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Bitter as hell and not much flavor other than a touch of pine and citrus. Probably my least favorite from them although hopheads will love it.

Can. A- Grapefruit juice, resin, pine, seaweed. A- Dark golden orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Pine, dank, grassy, grapefruit, peach, melon, slightly bitter, dry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dry bitter finish. O- My first White Elm brew not on tap. Good to see they have started packaging and maintain consistency in quality. Another solid beer and I am always amazed with out accurate their descriptions are. Not a fan of the looks with all the floaties but done well. More people need to experience White Elm.

Sampled at the brewery alongside HuskerTan and MetalNHopHead. Pours pitch black with no head. Aromas of the characteristic coconut flakes, subtle bourbon, slight roast, vanilla, and traces of subtle spiced rum.
Taste is straight up coconut, bourbon, vanilla, dark melted chocolate and butter, roasted coffee beans, and again subtle rum notes. Body is full and thick, creamy. Bold bastard right here.
I have sampled Goose Island Bourbon County Stout - Proprietor’s 2013 several times. I got to say this stout has Prop 2013 beat. This was by far the best beer I sampled in all of my 2017 Lincoln, NE trip. Wonderfully crafted.
Taste is straight up coconut, bourbon, vanilla, dark melted chocolate and butter, roasted coffee beans, and again subtle rum notes. Body is full and thick, creamy. Bold bastard right here.
