Cask at the Wild Boar, Warwick. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is big weedy hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, dank, resin, grassy, floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s all about the bittering hops.

Bottle online from The Natural Grocery Store. Pours pitch black with a thick foamy beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Taste has more roasted malts, coffee and chocolate with a little brown sugar. Some ashy notes on the finish. A nice balance between roasted bitter and sweet. Medium body, average carbonation and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Enjoying this Porter. Good

Bottle online from The Natural Grocery Store. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized fluffy white head. Light citrus and caramel aromas but not getting much on the nose. Taste is better, much more pronounced citrus notes with more caramel, biscuits, floral hops and a touch of honey. Decent hoppy bitterness on the finish. Thinnish body, average carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Quite a nice beer.

Bottle online from The Natural Grocery Store. Pours a clear light copper colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aroma is biscuit, bread, sweet toffee and a hint of citrus. Taste is more biscuits, sweet toffee and citrus, with a hint of nuts and a big grassy and earthy hop bitterness on a dry finish . Medium body, average carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Not a bad beer but the bitterness on the finish is a tad too harsh for me personally.
