Bottle from Londis, Bourton-on-the-Water. Pours a clear amber brown, small but consistent off white head. Aroma is quite sweet, toffee, dust, biscuit, hay, light flora. Taste of caramel, bread, grassy bitterness. Light bodied, semi-dry. Good bitter, some more hop definition would have improved it but I enjoyed it.

Bottle from Melbecks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Clear gold, small pillowy consistent white head. Floral hoppy, touch of citrus zest, biscuit and a hint of the rye malt in aroma; decent. Taste is a little disappointing, quite resinous and bitter flora, grassy, very faint fruit notes - one dimensional. Good body for 4% with soft carbonation. All good except the flavour!

Bottle from Melbicks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Pours dark brown with a finger of beige head. Roast malt aroma, dark chocolate, hay, dried fruits; promising. Taste of bitter roast, licquorice, dark chocolate, some dried fruits and herbs. The bitterness becomes slightly tinny in the finish but other than that its very tasty. Nice medium body, soft mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
