Appearance: Cloudy pale amber with a two finger tall off-white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Barnyard, horse blanket, lemon, overripe apples & pears, autumn leaves, light toast, meaty notes. Intense. Taste: Pretty dry, medium plus sour. Pale & special malt. lemon, autumn leaves, barnyard, light vinegar, old hop. Mouth feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Complex and nice.

Bottle. Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is rhubarb, quite sour, good funk. Taste is the same, strong sourness but not too much. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Good!

--Bottled. -- Reddish golden, small head. Tart funky nose with evident blackberries. Citric with notes of horseblanket and lots of blackberries. Mildly bitter finish.

Lovely tasty beer Deep red pour and small head on top Fine intensity in the aroma Pleasant dry and a fine acidity Also a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Fruity, yeast, grapes and some funk in the flavor. [Bottle – shared by Yngwie and Meilby]

Bottle, 75cl. Wine cork. Quite clear in the glass, reddish, with a small pinkish white head. Funky nose, lemon, earth, berries, alcohol and a touch of barnyard. A bit heavily carbonated, semi tart and medium bodied. Berries, lemon, barnyard, hay and generic funk in the flavor, with a hint of vinegar. Medium length finish. Refreshing and tasteful, but with a bit more vinegar than I prefer. 240726

A: grape, gooseberry, oak, lime, cheese.
T: sour gooseberry, physalis, bittersweet grape, sourdough.
F: tart grape skin & juice, softly bitter grassy hops, straw and wood.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft to flat carbonation.
Quite complex and utterly refreshing.

A: dust, attic, old bread, barnyard.
T: sour lemon, gooseberry, sourdough, straw.
F: tart lemon, berry & grape, dusty & funky.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
All the fine features of a good Lambic.
