Big fluffy, almost bathfoam-like cyclamen head over dark ruby to terra cotta coloured beer. Fresh cherries in the best possible way - as to make one go pick sour cherries and make pie. Super intense cherry flavour, mild acidic rather than hard sour. Keeps perfect balance between lambic and fruit, with even some fruitsugars detectable. Acidthinning but no burn. Fruitslickness and -filling, well carbonated. Outstanding, awesome. Just insanely well-balanced. True gem.

750 ml. bottle @ home. Bottled on 01/20. Very slight gusher. Almost clear golden & sparkling with a nicely lacing dense white head. Nose is sour grapes, horse blanket, faint soup, elder flower, unripe gooseberry and faint soap. Taste is heavy apple, quite sour, low soap, elder flower, lemon, green & unripe fruit, lemon,… Lemon body, lively, green, slightly dry,… Faint soap taste is a bit minor but green fruit, funk, white grape is very nice, rather sour / harsh, slightly messy but overall very neat & definitely better than their Kriek.

Bottle. Color: Pale hazy golden, fizzy, frothy white head. Aroma: Fruity grapes, tannins, moderate tart, funky, a little horse blanket. Taste: fruity citrus, grape, grapeskin, orange and lime. Quite some tannins, subtle funk, over moderate tart, light to moderate sweet and light bitterness. Hints of wood. Bit brut-like. Dry mouthfeel. Under medium body, just under average carbonation. I was very curous about this new Lambiek Fabriek, but it's a little disappointing. Still ok, but too much citrus and too little grape and body for me.

Fully hazy pale lemon to ochre beer, well-carbonated to huge, quite dense snow-white head. Indeed, musk! Spicy, elderflower, bit horseblanket, putteke Very nice, mild sourish flavour, sourish pineapple, sour grapes, again a bit herbal-spicy, green fruit. Finish with lemon and elderflower. Super-refreshing, lipsmacking acidity but nowhere overly sour, light acidthinning. Exciting flavour and carbonation. Fiercely good.

750 ml. Bottle @ home. Bottled 01/20. Bright red vague amber hue in the back with a small pink head. Nose is sharp cherry, pits, oak, almond, short, sharp, low funk and almost bit vinegary in the way back. Taste is cherry, slightly sweet fruit, almond, new wood, sharp, vaguely sweet pits, no real funk or complexity, slightly fizzy, bit empty bodied. Okay, decent but far from solid in style. Their geuze did improve over time so I suppose that over time they will manage to fine tune it. Quite a bit pricier than alternatives as well for now.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 18.04.20. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of brett, barnyard and sour lemons. Acid, dry and astringent mouthfeel and aftertaste. Good drinkability.
