500mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma has stale bready malt and old furniture-like smoke—not particularly pleasant. Flavour is better, with cured smoked meat, sweet cereal malt, and old furniture. What seems off on the nose actually comes through alright on the palate. Solid.

Ein durch und durch stimmiges Vollbier. Relativ stabile Schaumkrone, getreidig, etwas blumiger Hopfen, passende Balance aus Süße, Säure und leichter Hopfenbittere. Ungemein süffig.

(Draught at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 12 Oct 2024) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with lasting white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, grass, citrus and herbal hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, grass, citrus, grain and a gentle herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.
