Keg at the brewery. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. A light tang from the lager malts. Saphir hops bring a light tangy floralness hand in hand with a light tangy citrus. Light finish, zingy!

Keg at the brewery. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Little palate, starts smooth but has decent fine minerally carbonation coming through on the back end. Light lager malts. A mildly sour citrus, grapefruit tang and a touch of lemon. Light finish. Feels a little skewed but okay.

1/3 pint, tap, shared with Finn at Hackney Church Brew. A remaining, but low tan coloured head, pitch black in the glass, clingy lacing. Attractive aromas of roasted, oaky black malts. Rich dark malt-driven flavours, fine blend of coffee and chocolate joined by impacts of dark fruits and liquorice. Roasted, mid-sweet, black malty long tail warming down the swallow. 1/3 pint, 10 % abv, tap, shared with Finn at Hackney Church Brew. Black in the glass, bubbly patches on the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting roasted aroma, moments of dark bread and chocolate. Rich malt-driven taste of chocolate, syrup and nuts alongside a vibe of dark fruits. Roasted dark chocolate ending, not overly sweet. Full bodied, decent slow sipper. (London 17.11.2021).
