Description
Welcome to the Hackney Church Brew Co. We are a new brewpub based in the heart of Hackney, named after the parish church over the road. Like the church, we want to create a welcoming space that everyone can enjoy that gives back to the local community.
We serve our own tasty beers alongside delicious food in our taproom and sunny garden. In our book, that’s beer for all sorts.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. Murky orange with basically no head. Love the aroma, I can almost feel the fuzz of the peach skin as I hold it to my nose and inhale deeply. Taste has a lot more vanilla, but still dominated by the souring peach. Big sourness on the tongue. Long sour stone fruit finish. Lightish body, lowish carbonation. Quite impressive.

Keg at the brewery taproom - Hackney. Pours lightly hazed gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of dried citrus peel, pine needle accents, straw, biscuit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, clean, more citrus peel, dried pale grains, hay. Easygoing and drinkable.

Keg at the Crewe Dog, 26/01/24. Clear golden to light amber with a just off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is biscuit, grains, orange zest, straw. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, grains, caramel, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close punctured briefly with modest earthy hop bitterness. So so pale ... struggling to stay in 3rd gear never mind pull out of it!
