Description
Welcome to the Hackney Church Brew Co. We are a new brewpub based in the heart of Hackney, named after the parish church over the road. Like the church, we want to create a welcoming space that everyone can enjoy that gives back to the local community.
We serve our own tasty beers alongside delicious food in our taproom and sunny garden. In our book, that’s beer for all sorts.

Keg at Hackney Church. Aroma is fruity, particularly pineapple. Ha,y bright g9ls. Foamy light white head. Light bitter and citrus. Soon followed up by a big creamy streak. All a tad muted. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Pleasant if unexciting.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours healthy brown with a tight, creamy beige topping. Lightly sweet with nice milk chocolate notes, toasted biscuits, soft roast, a little earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Nicely balanced finish. Solid.

This one isn’t really doing it for me. Tart up front but it’s got a bitter finish that seems to linger.
