0,5 flaske fra Ninkasira København, i lejligheden lørdag kveld, velfortjent etter nok en lang dag med oppussing av kjøkkenet: klar, rødlig kobber med utmerket skum helt ned. Behagelig aroma og smak av den anvendte humlen (fersk, rett fra bryggeriets egen humlegård) med jordaktige toner, milde krydderurter, tilbakelent furunål, milde citrusfrukter og karamell. Minner mer om en god esb enn en ipa. Mild og god bitterhet i ettersmaken, som i tillegg har modne frukter lurende i ytterkanten. BB 15.01.18, men de har 3 mnd etter tapping som grense, så den er antakelig fortsatt i nærheten av toppform.

Kveldens første (etter aperitifen) på polsk ølsmagning på Ninkasira jan-18: let uklar korngul med ok skum. Banan, bitterappelsiner, ananas, koriander. Delikat og let drikkelig. God balance og mild bitterhed. Glasset blev fort tomt, men heldigvis var der mer tilbage i flaskene.

Aperitif på polsk ølsmagning hos Ninkasira jan-18: dufter og smaker som en ekte apa (om enn slank/tynn), og uten den metalliske bismaken som de fleste lavalkohol øl skjemmes av. I stedet gir rugmalten et fint bidrag. Et utmerket sjåførøl og egentlig imponerende med bare 1%.

Bottle. Pours unclear blonde/amber. Small white head. Smell is very intense, hoppy, mandarin-like citrussy, sharp, bitter. Wow, suprisingly good ! Taste is very full-flavored, very similar to hopped wort, which isn't to bad at all . Some risidual sweetness, perhaps they just ended the fermentation of a session IPA when it reached 1 ABV ? Mild cheesyness from the hops, but not as in the awefull, aged-hop kinda taste. It's actually quite enjoyable. Medium-low mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Well made, nice drinkin' low alcohol !

500ml Bottle - Light copper in colour. Pine, toffee and grapefruit in the aroma. Pine, grapefruit, toffee and faint hints of berries and raisins in the taste. A good showcase of Polish Chinook and Cascade hops but would have liked it to be slightly less caramelly in terms of the malt profile. Otherwise good!

Keg at Piwpaw Beer Heaven, Warsaw, 06/04/17. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is big on coffee grinds, spice, chocolate sprinkle, earthy malts. Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, coffee cake, brown sugars, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough coffee stout.
