(bottle) Cloudy, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly acidic berry-fruity aroma with wheat and mildly toasted malt in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Delicately toasted malty and wheaty taste with hints of caramel, dried berries and phenolic spices; sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish without noticeable hints of alcohol. Drinkable Weizenbock, not the best one of its kind. 13.II.13

Bottled 500ml (PBF, BB 08/2012)
Deep copper color, small beige head. Malty, a bit toasty but also a bit cardboardish aroma. Full-bodied. Sweet, raisiny maltyness. Some backing alcohol in the finish. Lingering sweetness in the aftertaste. Tasty, aroma is a bit off-putting.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 1.6.2010
Big-bubbled and disappearing head. Bright yellow colour. Aroma is somewhat stale with butter, nettles and hints of metal. Flavour has butter, some grainy malt, hints of nettles and metal. Too much CO2 on palate. Not good.
