Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a murky, full yellow body with a lasting big thick white head. Light chewed up bubblegum in the generally sweetish nose, very light cloves... erm... no. The taste is a fight between breadiness and gluey notes, nicely sweetish though. Something about it just didn’t sit right with me though, slightly stale going to the aftertaste maybe. Dunno. Not the best beer we’ve had today and I might be overrating it.

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Moderately sweet and wheaty aroma with notes of banana, ripe citrus and a touch of clovy spices. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather modest carbonation for a Wheat. Yeasty, wheaty and fruity taste with notes of citrus and banana; delicately spicy and slightly sour-fruity finish. Just another decent Hefeweizen from the Oberpfalz. 29.VII.11
