Lyme Bay Winery is the home of LBW Drinks. Our small, dedicated drinks company is full of people who are passionate about producing delicious and award-winning English Wine, Fruit Wine, Cider, Mead, Liqueurs and Spirits from our home in Devon’s beautiful Axe Valley.

Here we combine our knowledge and love of flavours and ingredients with our wine-making skills to craft award-winning traditional drinks, tailored to the 21st-century palate Each of these amazing products is fermented, blended and aged, as appropriate, right here at the Winery under the supervision of our experienced team.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, funky. Taste is sweetish, apple, musty, fleshy, red apple, with skin and core, some funk and acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish. Quite drinkable.

25/8/2022. From BIAB at the 43rd Peterborough Beer Festival. As Lyme Bay Ernie Boy's Scrumpy. Pours clear bright golden with minimal head. Aroma is funky, musty apple, light solvent, leather and horse-blanket. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light sourness. Medium body, oily, soft to flat carbonation. Dry tangy finish. Good.

Sample at the English Heritage shop at Tintagel Castle, badged with an English Heritage label. Deep mahogany appearance. Very sweet with rich honey and a pleasantly warming chilli presence. Decent.

Bottle at The Made Inn Ashford. clear orange red colour no head. rhubarb aroma. that's quite nice. some sweetness but the rhubarb is pleasant. I thought a bit like a rhubarb and custard sweet but as sweet .I liked it. decent.

Very sweet, slightly too cloying for my preference but it is certainly delicious if taken slowly. Glad I had some friends to help me with this one. I like my rhubarb drinks more tart than sweet. Would love to try a strawberry rhubarb mead, though.

Can at home, clear pale golden, aroma is honey, sweet, apple, funk. Taste is sweet, honey, light fizzy, dry, very dry apple tasting aftertaste. Meh, i prefer non sparkling meads

330ml can. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet honey and apple juice. Taste is sweet, with apple juice to start and honey on the finish.

Bottle at the house of trembling madness. Pours clear deep amber, nose is floral, honey, capsicum, taste is juicy honey, sweet, fiery chilli.
