Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - definite cinnamon and pastry. Dark chocolate edge. Taste - dark boozy chocolate this time, which engulfs the cinnamon pastry. Palate - rich and full bodied. Creamy texture. Impressive linger. Overall - lovely stuff.

440ml can. Hazed pinkish red appearance, small off-white head. Raspberry shooting through on the nose, and dominating the overall character with light passionfruit complimenting its juicy nature. Tangy berry pips, gentle sour shades. Kviek yeast seems to be buried somewhat in all this, hard to really determine its overall influence. Great beer tho.

Can purchased on the interwebs. It pours opaque jet black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich dark roasted malts, sweet, sticky, unctuous, decadent, deep morello cherry character, cherry jam, earthy, loads of espresso coffee, dark chocolate, black forest gateaux and coffee cake. The taste is dry, rich roasted malts upfront, earthy, burnt toast, big espresso coffee wallop, bitter - sweet character, jammy cherry vibes, ripe and juicy, thick and unctuous, chocolate cake, black forest gateaux, oak and a nip of spice with just a hint of that 10% alcohol on the back end. Full body and moderate carbonation. Decadent, yet moreish.. Nice bitter - sweet balance to itm nice work.
