0,5 l bottle under the name Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk. Thanks to TJ, my second son. Dark red brown in the glass, big light tanned foamy head. Looks really good. Malty and light metallic on the nose. Tastes malty, light sweetness, grainy hints, little bit sourish in the middlepart, more malt in the aftertaste. Easy to drink.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Biscuity malty aroma with notes of toffee, honey and a whiff of floral hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly chalky, mildly cara-malty taste with floral and herbal spicy hops; dry-ish bitter-sweet herbal hoppy finish. Slightly dull. 21.VIII.14

Clear dark chestnut brown colour, one finger thick creamy beige head, recedes only slowly to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma sweet and roasted malts, caramel, fruit syrup, brown sugar, hint of liquorice. Taste mediun sweet, light bitter, roasted malt. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, prickly on the tongue, at first mild bittersweet finish, becomes more bitter after a while, nice.

500ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fluffy white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, clove, a herbal touch. Taste is dry, minimally tart, wheaty, minimally grainy, hints of green apple.
