Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Jan for this one. Hazed dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is dark malt, toffee, dark fruits. Taste comprises toffee, sweet sugary tones, dates, light nutty trace. Full end of medium bodied with fine carbonation lending towards a sweet finish with a touch of booze. Ok stuff.

Tasting at ChrisO’s. Hazy amber - brown beer, tidy off white head. Light and softish palate. Sweetish airy malt, a little paper. Very sweet malt! Touch of generic fruits. Light softish finish. A bit odd.

Runder aber bereits intensiver Antrunk mit leichtem Alkohol. Hell, wenig hopfig, etwas brennend zum Ende, erstaunlich und positiv wenig süß. Gut! 7/11/9/12//11

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is toasted malty and light herbal to grassy. Toasted malty. Flat malty, grassy to light herbal hoppy. Bitter. Dry and toasted malty finish.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. First the Hill Farmstead now this….. wow you really are spoiling us! It pours hazy golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is smoke, grainy, honey roast ham and TCP...an odd mix indeed. The taste is citrus, ham, smoke, underlying sweetness, light ketchup, honey, warming alcohol and medicinal notes. Medium body and fine carbonation. An interesting meaty brew....but doesn’t work very well.

Bottle at the Mini Tasting, London. Pours faintly hazy gold with a light, white foam head. Nose is a bit off-putting, some mild tangy malts, subtle ham. Medium sweet flavor, some lightly toasty malts, some mellow ham, faint berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, light ham, subtly tangy malts. A touch thin, though still a lot of interesting stuff going on. Doesn’t completely work, but OK.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, berry, ash, dusty malt, the brew house yeast. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, ash, roasted, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120422]

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, candy, moderate yeasty, almond - mazipan. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft.
