Vom Faß im Greifenklau-Biergarten, Bamberg. - Bernsteinfarben, klar (soweit im Krug erkennbar). - Nase schwach malzwürzig, ganz leichter Hopfen. - Antrunk leicht malzwürzig, Karamelmalz, kaum süß. Mild rezent, weich und ganz leicht „kreidig“ im Mund, süffig. Im Abgang milder aber nicht zu schwacher hopfenwürziger Hopfen mit zarter fruchtiger Bittere, leicht trocken. - Mild aber nicht dünn, leicht holzig-trocken, schlank und enorm süffig. Ein unspektakuläres, einfach gutes Bier.

Draught at the Keller. Medium amber with a thin film of head. Aroma is fresh hay. Flavour is malt, hop, a little nut, spice at the back.

On draught at the pub. Wheaty cerealy toffee aroma adn flavour, bit of toast, some zingy hop on finish. Toffee. Decent cereal flavour dominated lager. 3.1 re rate at Greifenklau. more bitter more darker malts. biscuit. good.

Tap at the Brauhaus beer garden - 28/04/12. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Wheat and banana on the nose. Wheat, banana, clove all present in the taste a little sweet than other beers of this style but tempered with a little citrus in the finish. Medium carbonation and a good enough hefeweizen.

Bottle from brewery. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of wheat, light banana, yest. Taste, orange, lemon, yeast wheat. Fruity bittersweet finish. Nice.
