Sampled from a 0.33l bottle @ Haandfest 2015. This is a near clear looking one, deep amber or even a little rusty in the glass. Lacing just off white head, bubbly also. Sweet nose, caramellish. A little red Berry infused. Straws and birch. It's a bit sweet in the taste also, but surprisingly well tasting. Red berries, caramel and toffee apples. Soft on the bubbles this one. Yeah, huge thanks for the sample Mr Cunningham. 30.05.2015

12 oz bottle poured. Bottled on 1/21/16. Picked up in St. Pete. Mississippi beer! Took forever. Pours midnight black with a tan active fizz head. Sweet chocolate, slight metallic, and almost a pumpkin presentation aroma. Flavor is sweet cream, milk chocolate, hints of roast, and an all around sweet finish. Not a bad stout here. A little different. I like it.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, dense, four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pecans, nuts, earth, malt, a bit of coffee and even some squash. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong nutty flavour with a big grain flavour right afterwards, some good sweetness from brown sugar and caramel with a little earthy finish. Aftertaste shows a good deal of alcohol, some nice rich squash flavours, but all together a bunch of nuts and caramel sweetness - as expected. Overall, a very nice rich beer with a lot of sugars and somehow - even more nuttiness. Good to sample, and although it was strong and in a large format bottle, it was still nice to sample! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 17-May-2015 for US$12,48 sampled in my hotel room in Luray, Virginia on 19-September-2015 after spending a day in the mountains.
