12oz bottle. Slightly hazy, but still looks filtered. Thin orange-tan, this soda-like head. Grainy, light bodied. Watery bodied, rather insipid beverage. Not offensive, some light spices don’t really add anything other than a medicinal feel. Balanced in some respects I suppose. Sort of has a Wit feel, some pleasant vanilla wheat tones. Tolerable, but not too removed from macro swill.

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet grainy malt with light honey notes. In mouth, a sweet cloying boriing ale with grainy notes, grassy, honey, boring. On tap at Knoxville Brewer’s Jam, Oct. 22 2011.

Draft. Clear brown color, small tan head. Aroma of caramel, toast. Taste is malty, but some bitterness sneaks in at the end. A bit plain, but OK.

Bottle with gooovikings in KC. Thanks Jetson! Dark amber appearance with an off white head. Toasty, nutty, light pecan, sweet brown malty aroma. Sweet, toasty nutty, somewhat syrupy, caramel, brown malty flavor. The beer sounds way more tasty than it actually is.

Pecan, bark, and light maple syrup notes on the nose. Subtle gym sock smell also detectable. Light brown, clear, thick creamy tan head, good lacing. Nougat and vanilla flavor, with weak cherry notes. Alcohol not noticeable. Slightly tangy, not bitter, quaffable. This was an elusive tick for me, since Mississippi beers aren’t available in Virginia. I drove 150 miles out of my way to Birmingham while visiting family in Georgia. The bar I visitedndid not have it but I was able to find it in a nearby bottle shop, thanks to to the bartender. This beer is actually worth the trouble.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of Cavie. Thanks Travis! A touch hazy, yellow-orange appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Slightly spicy, moderate orange-lemon citrusy, effervescent, wheat malty nose. Bubbly, lemon-orange citrusy, orange peel, spicy, coriander, light wheat malty flavor. Pretty easy drinking, nice wheat.

On tap at the Nook. Pours dark brown with a medium, beige head. The aroma is light syrup, and pecans. The flavor is a subdued sweetness, and a mild bitter finish. The palate is medium to heavy and a clean, crisp finish. Overall, a simple, but tasty beer.

Slightly clear coloured lighter brown body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head with a touch of a ruby glow - light! Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, a touch of nuts and some light caramel and sweetness. Light-bodied; Pungent nutty flavour with a bunch of malt and caramel and a little earth and almost nothing else. Aftertaste has a light sweetness and a little malt with some residual nuts - again, not too much complexity. Overall, a pretty typical brown, especially for the style - too little flavours and too watery of a taste. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in St. Petersburg, Florida on 13-November-2010 sampled at home in Washington on 26-February-2011.

Received this in trade from jtrockchalk, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a reddish amber with a bubbly off white head that sticks around for a while. Smell is sweet and malty. I pick up caramel and brown sugar, slight nuttiness as it warms. Taste is sweet with malts a bit of a nuttiness in the background. Body is medium to thin, mouthfeel is creamy/bubbly, carbonation is a bit on the high side. Would make a decent enough session beer, but nothing really remarkable.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-ish yellow with a small fizzy white head. Not a bad beer. Slightly tart with obvious orange peel and coriander notes. Fairly dry. Yeasty finish. Some mildly spicy wheat character. Relatively effervescent mouthfeel. Better than expected.
