Bought a 6-pack of this at a gas station coming back from Memphis. Quite interesting, as this nut brown ale really is brewed with roasted pecans. It pours a clear copper colour with a thin off-white head. Hardly any lacing and carbonation is light. Aroma is nutty, roasted malty and with hints of cherries and bananas. Mild tart in the mouthfeel, coming from the pecans. The taste is close to the smell, with the nuts and malt, but I do find the hop a bit unpleasantly unbalanced with the rest of the brew. Maybe that is just the thing that makes me less enjoy nut browns.

Bottled, thanks Cletus! Cloudy pale amber, rich head. Dusty fruity nose. Sweetish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty fnish with good bitterness. Not the most flavourful beer ever, but a nicely drinkable one.

Bottle thanks to drowland. Disappointing brown ale pours cola colored with no head. Nose barely registers as caramel. Taste is lightly caramel flavored water and watered down nut juice. I can’t really place the kind of nut. Almonds? Pecans? Not sure. Anyway, I’m not sure what I’m missing here. Bad bottle? Perhaps.

Bottled. An amber beer with a fluffy off-white head - a bit over carbonated. The aroma is very fruity combined with notes of elderflowers and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers, hops, malt, spices, and straw, leading to a dry spicy finish. A bit light bodied.
