From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown with a small beige head that faded quickly but left good lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted nut, caramel and faint fruits - a bit light but very pleasant. The flavor was toasted caramel, sour pecan and light fruits. A sugary and woody undertone surrounded and the finish was long with sweet pecan and caramel. Surprisingly full bodied and smooth. The aroma and flavor elements in this one were subtle but quite remarkable. Very nice.

Cask @ Datz, Lazy Magnolia night. pours dark cloudy brown, no head. Aroma, dry potato nose with faint touch of vanilla, hints of caramel and chocolate Flavors, mouthfeel was just flat, little to no carbonation. Lightly malty with a potato like mouthfeel, vanilla is similar to aroma just very faint and the fact that the whole cask is flat probably did not help enhancing the palate. Finish is rather dry with touch of dark fruits, roasted malts and caramel.

Cask @ Datz, Lazy Magnolia night. Pours cloudy orange, light quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is nutty, pecan with added honey sweetness. Roasted malts/caramel. Flavors, grassy, nutty pecan palate with a sweet honey, light chocolate malts and roast followed by a herbal honey mouthfeel. Seem to have a touch of smoked malts mixed with the honey and a tad of hops mixed within the sweetness. Only downside was how little carbonation this cask had.

On tap at the 2010 installment of Stogies and Stouts pouring deep dark with brown edges and thin mocha head. The aroma is kind of roasty to burnt with a molasses sweetness mixed in as well as a chocolaty earthiness. The taste is smooth and sweet with highly roasted malts mixing with sweet notes of molasses along with an earthy note I can’t put my finger on. It dries out a bit into the finish and after taste with dark roasted malts.
