Fonta Flora Brewery integrates the soul of agriculture with the artisanship of zymurgy to create a menagerie of rustic and savory libations. With an emphasis on seasonal flora, Fonta Flora brings English tradition and Belgian inspiration to the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Clear golden color, thin white head. Herbal, flowery aroma. Tea comes along later. Flavor has tea, floral notes, lime. Uninteresting for me.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Pale golden, quite ugly, white head. Funky nose, floral and herbal notes. Flavor has elderflower, floral notes. Tart, but refreshing.

A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, citric and mellow. Lingering citric and smooth fruity, crisp fruity, bitter and citric. Dry finish.

Tap at CBC 2016, Red session. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is tart citrus. The flavour is light sour with a grainy earthy mineral citrus palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught @ CBC 2016, Copenhagen. Pours yellowish with a smooth head. Aroma of tartness, slightly earthy notes. Taste is lemony and citrusy with some tartness and grapefruit. Finish is earthy and slightly tart with some farmyard and lemon. Okay.
