Description
Fonta Flora Brewery integrates the soul of agriculture with the artisanship of zymurgy to create a menagerie of rustic and savory libations. With an emphasis on seasonal flora, Fonta Flora brings English tradition and Belgian inspiration to the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.

Fonta Flora utilizes local artists to help conceptualize the notion that fermentation is yet another medium for creating art. This uniquely artisan approach to beer yields a sustainable product filled with culture from our very own community.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending! Paw paw tick! Pours a murky, dull yellow appearance with a cream colored head. The aroma has funk, cheese, cobwebs, lemon, vanilla, and kiwi. White wine, apples, kiwi, pineapple, cheese, yogurt, lemon in the flavor. Juicy and tropical fruity. A little too sour for my preference but overall, it’s very enjoyable. I would buy this again. Crisp dry lingering paw paw finish.

Bottle in Glenwood Springs with Steve_0, thanks to jcnielsen for the NC Homer of the Month snob bier. Milky yellow appearance with a tiny white head. Aroma is heavy stinky socks, cheese, passion fruit, and guava. Tons of funk. Carbonation is a little low. Moderately high sourness. Lots of tropical fruit, acid, pineapple, and cheese in the flavor. A little bit of burner. Dialed in, this could be real good. Shows promise. A little too sour and carbonation is a little low. Fun to try. Thanks Jetson!
