75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Pours black, thin ring of tan head. Very well integrated coconut and chocolate.. silky mouth feel.. full bodied, long bounty bar linger, really nicely presented.

Bottle at BBGG. Black with almost no head. Massive coconut, soft cinnamon, bourbon, milk chocolate, boost, huge brown sugar, Bounty bars, vanilla. Very seeet, medium bitter. Full sugary body. Very nice but crazy sweet.

Bouteille 75cl à Belgian Summer Beer Gathering, merci Bjorn. Anno 2021.
Noir profond, huile de moteur, huileux doré au verre, col blanc-cassé pas tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet malté chargé en chocolat – pâte à tartiner/chocolat noir, petite touche douce et tropicale en retrait avec un beau contraste de la noix de coco et une pointe de vanille en support.
Palais est malté avec une certaine douceur latent – fin sur les noisettes – effervescence faible, note de date/sirop de grenade – Buffalo Trace, petite note de sauce soja qui montre que malgré ses 4 ans, ce gros stout montre déjà des signes de vieillesse. Fine douceur en fin de bouche – je ne retrouve pas vraiment la noix de coco.
Le tout reste cependant assez solide.

Dark brown, thin head. Lots of coffee, and coconut on the nose. Rich, abundant coffee and it isn’t mellow…but I didn’t have this fresh. Coconut more mellow on the palate. Lots of roast, the barley wine lending a bit of figgy, mildly fruity vibrancy. Lots of bitterness, just a touch of sugary sweetness in the finish. Bourbon is on the low quality side, but the coffee moderates its influence. Coconut checks in again at the very end. I’m digging this, glad I was able to try it.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma is decadent and complex, with intense bourbon barrels, rich caramel, toffee, and brown sugar — damn. Flavour is intense as hell, with humongous bourbon barrel character, oodles of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and sticky sugars. Rich and syrupy, but without being cloying; the barrels keep the sugars in check. Sublime.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has woody piney hops, crisp biscuity malt, and light citrus. Flavour is bright, with big dank hops, citrus zest, pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Real nice hop expression, finishing moderately dank and piney. Excellent.

On tap at Full Throttle, pours a mostly clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is moderately dank, with lots of piney hops, some pot, fresh leafy notes, and doughy malt. Flavour is bright, with tons of leafy hops, dankness, pine, and dry biscuity malt. Pungent dank and fresh leafiness on the finish. Wonderful.

On tap at Structures . Pours muddy dark brown with no head. Tons of intense bourbon barrels, dark sugars, and dried dark berries on the nose. Flavour is ridiculously intense with loads of charred bourbon barrels, molasses, dark sugars, rich bready malts, and some dried dark berries. Rich, sweet, and super intense; the sweetness from the malts and sugars kept in check with the boozy bourbon. Amazing.

On tap at Structures . Pours clear light gold with a white head. Bright pine, tropical fruit, and a bit of citrus peel. Flavour has juicy tropical fruit, bright pine, dank oils; good body with a bitter finish. Clean and well-hopped, nice.
