Spec’s, Houston 16oz can: Pours slightly hazy really pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma is light amounts of spice and perhaps a fruity note or too. I found the taste to be, well... tasteless. I mean, there was a little bit of spiciness and perhaps some sweetness, but really I was disappointed.

Thanks to crajun for the trade! Can. Pours a very dark brown, almost opaque, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts and cocoa powder. The flavor is rich yet simple. Roast malt and chocolate that pretty much is what the aroma sets you up for. Not too sweet, not too bitter; well balanced.

Thanks to crajun for sending this one in trade! Can Slightly hazy amber pour smallish off-white head. Hop aroma of pine resin and citrus. The flavor has a big malt presence. Sweetness that comes through a generous amount of hops.. There are a few breweries out there that would sell this as their IIPA.

Pint can, hells yes! Pours a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. A nice peppery and fruity nose. The flavor is clean, big lemons and oranges, some light rye, tannins, pepper and more banana and lemon zest. Good. Robust.

12 ounce can. Pours a bright amber color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of honey and rye. Very light, clean and easygoing: rye spice, some light honey, earthy malt, light bitter hops meld with the rye. Good.

Can. Pours a jet black color with a medium silky brown head. A smooth nose with light roast, chocolates, some metal. The flavor is rich, smooth and tasty: dark fruit, metal, dry oats and certainly spicy robust rye shine here. Comes across like a earthy big oatmeal and spicy brew. Very good. Not a Baltic in flavor, more of a straight porter or even FES.
