Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has good crispness. Light malts, thin cream, mild to medium sweetness. Mild orange and orange pith, little peach. Mild minerals on the finish. From nowhere comes a surprisingly bitter linger. Decent gold.

Bright clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has a light fine crispness. Very light malts, mildly sweet, touch of cream. Light but spicy orange and tangerine hops. Light crispy finish. Had this beer after two excellent IPAs, but this gold held it’s own. Clean and refreshing.

CAsk at GBBF 2016. It pours clear deep brown with a decent, bubbly beige head. The aroma is soft, rich roasted malt, toast, cocoa, liquorice and coffee grounds. The taste is toasty, ashy, liquorice, wood, spice, umami, tar, coffee grounds and a touch of astringency. Finish is dry and earthy. Comes together pretty well and drinks easy. Decent enough mild.
