Hazy amber beer, few off white bubbles. Palate is light with a fine carbonation that brings a little crispness. Super light malts, slightly sweet. Mellow orange citric hops. Light floralness. Light finish. That’s it! Simple stuff but pretty drinkable. Really not getting the ’Euro style’ here.

Expensive corked and caged 750 bottle bought at the Grainge Barn Beer Festival, Coggleshall. Was told this was brewed with Champagne yeast. Hazy gold beer with a big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry and crisp. Thin malts, but lightly sweet and creamy. Very mild seltzer. Sweet floralness and a contrasting mild savoury note. There is mild champagne feel to it, whisper of apple and light yeast. Light finish with very mild alcohol spice. Pretty light for it’s abv and very drinkable.

Grange Barn Beer Festival. Coggeshall. Cask. Murky gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Sweet wheaty malts. Little spice. Mellow ripe orange, light esters. Semi dry finish. The sweet wheat is a tad much but it’s okay.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, few pale cream colour bubbles trying to be a head. Light palate, semi dry. Modest carbonation. Light sweetish malt, trace of lacto cream. Zingy marmalade hops with a touch of lemon. Light floralness before the dry finish. Not bad at all.

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is crisp and fairly dry. Light malt, trace of cream. Mild minerals. Very mild strawberry, perhaps a bit too light. Light dry finish. Pleasant and hides the abv very well but really could be bolder in the fruits flavour.

Clear deep amber - brown beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and a little crisp. Very mild dark malts with whisoer of chocolate and lactose. Light orangey tang before the light dry finish. Marmalade coming to the fore in the aftertaste. Tasty if a bit thin.

Bright clear amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malt. Sweetish light floral flavours give way to light espresso. A touch of sweet generic fruits before a light crisp finish. Mild fresh espresso linger. Nicely done, a light and fresh coffee beer.
