3rd annual Coggleshall Grange Barn. Special made with the Grange Barn honey. Cloudy amber beer, tiny white head. Light palate, semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Nice zingy and rich orange marmalade hops with a trace of lemon/ Zesty fresh semi dry finish. Bitter aftertaste. Fresh and tasty - a bit of a belter!

Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of sulphur, malt, and an odd note of hair spray. The flavor is sweet with odd notes of spices, leading to a dry finish.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer, good suddy white head. Smooth palate. Lovely fresh orange - grapefruit hops. Great citrus with robust bitterness. Semi dry finish. Bitter aftertaste. Really strong flavour for it’s abv and the stand out beer for me at this years festival.

Clear dark amber beer. Semi dry palate. Malty but with something else going on. Ginger? Maybe a little chilli? Finishes dry with a little hop. Interesting! 5th February 2011
Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Clear amber beer with a good off white bubbly head. Slightly sulfurus nose! Bleh! Light semi dry palate. Oranges and dry malt with sulfur poking through. Very dissapointing. I know some people don’t mind sulfur but I cannot abide bad eggs in me beer!

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Clear brown beer, residual tan head. Light dry palate. Mild dark malt. Light touch of red fruit, whisper of powdered chocolate. Dry finish. Alright but was hoping for something with more BFG flavour.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Loads of beers shared with ChrisO and Harrisoni - Cheers! Clear pale gold beer, residual white head. Sulfury hoppy nose! Bleh! Taste is much better - nice sherbet grapefruit hops and a little citrus as well. Light dry finish. A tad too dry. Would be a much better beer without the naff nose.
