(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of jbrus/tbone_. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Medium body, sweetish caramel and some Hubbabubba-like fruit notes. Has a vague, underlying tartness. Quite all right really but very far from your typical Dunkelweizen. 300607

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Pale orange colour with huge, firm, white head leaving lots of lacing. Fruity nose with notes of lemon peel, orange, apricots and hints of coriander. Fruity taste with orange, grapefruit and a spicy, dry finish with a nice, harsh, hoppy bitterness. Lots of spices and hops coming through after a while. Nice and tasty brew.

Bottled. A deep golden, clear, full-bodied beer with a beige head. Spices, malt, caramel and sugar in the aroma. Sugar, some spicyness, malt and dried fruits in the flavor. The finish is sweet, with some spicyness as well. A quite nice one, like a spiced-up wheat bock. (061222)

Bottle, 7.5%. Quite yeasty and very peppery aroma. Slightly hazy brown colour, small head. The flavour is quite peppery with some warming and burning alcohol. Seems to have some spices in the finish, aniseed. A bit sweet, but still dominated by the alcohol.

A hazy orange beer with quite a lot of sediment floating around underneath a white head. The bottle has aged a couple of years, but was within the best before date. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit, and so is the flavor, here peaches stand out amongst the fruits, and mixes in with a light spicy note. The mouthfeel is quite thick.

Bottled. Hazy orange/golden colour with mediumsized head, which becomes a thin layer quite quickly. The layer stays until end though. Aroma is orange, with some caramel and earth in it. Flavour is caramel, medicine, grass and yeast. The yeast gets stronger in the aftertaste, along with fruity sweetness, making the aftertaste slightly weird, and I’m not sure if it’s in a good or bad way. Overall a quite nice beer.
