Huge thanks ippoppotamo! Shared with Hrabren and Ogi! Murky copper body, small off white head. Huge aroma, old banana, sweetish, big caramel too, not bad, not great, perfumey and bready. Taste... lighter than expected, fresh, slightly watery to dry, light banana, light caramel, ends herbal, pretty dusty, vague hop. Actually reminds me of Medvedgrad’s Grička Vještica. Not bad, not great.

Bottle, huge thanks ippoppotamo! Shared with ogivlado and Hrabren. Aroma... herbal & citric aroma hops, slightly cheesy, vaguely tart. Mild herbal, slightly peppery yet soft, vaguely citric. Tasty little golden ale, not really an APA, but a good beer.

Thanks ippoppotamo! Murky golden body, tiny white head. Aroma... soft maltiness and soft buttery notes... yup, diacetyl. Taste... again, soft maltiness and diacetyl, but mixing with interesting peppery and tea-like hoppiness. Vaguely soapy. Not that good. Flawed and the base beer seems to be just OK underneath.

Huge thanks ippoppotamo! Misty dark golden-amber body, small thick white head. Huge aroma here, banana, fresh fruit, berry jam, caramel, maybe very mild clove, slightly strange herbal touch slightly upsetting the otherwise superb aroma. Soft, creamy taste, mild vanilla on caramel, mild herbal touch, mild bread. Vague banana and apple. Tasty, though sliiightly too light. Didn’t live up to the promise from the aroma. very good weizen!

Huge thanks ippoppotamo! Shared with Hrabren and ogivlado. Misty brown, dark brown body, tinged with amber, off white head, creamy but tiny. Huge dogfood, malty aroma, light tart touch, malty. Taste... nice malty, dark malts, chocolate, vague chocolate, but also light green fruit tartness. Damn... this is going bad. Damn shame, shows promise. Prickly carbonation. Hope to retry it at some point, definitely has enormous potential for the style.

Thanks ippoppotamo! Misty coppery body, tiny white head. Bready and chewed up bubblegum aroma, light toasty notes. Taste.... dry dryyy bready, yeasty body, vaguely perfumey & creamy, sweetish, very scant caramel. Meh, ends too dry and vaguely bitter. After the last two, a disappointment.

Huge thanks ippoppotamo! 0.33l stubby, shared with ogivlado and Hrabren. Murky lemon body. Aroma... whoa... citric, fruity, Cedevita Limun basically. Taste.. very light, lemony, ending with a touch of pepper. Er... these guys actually don’t lie in their commercial description. Quite drinkable, flawless really, nice. But way too light. With 1% more and balanced to that, this would’ve been superb, like this... just very nice.

Huge thanks ippoppotamo! Small white head, golden amber slightly hazy body. Creamy doughy aroma, vague orange I guess. Nice, creamy mild lager, vaguely fruity, dried something, maybe even wild strawberry. The yeasty creaminess dominates however. Mild herbal hoppy touch in the background. only slightly bitter. This is indeed a very good lager.

On tap at Lanterna del Doge in Zero Branco, at the source (practically). Light amber cloudy, medium off white foam. Nose: esters forward but ok, some molasses. Mouth: soft and rich cara feel, bit herbs. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
