Date, dried banana, syrup, sweet whisky. Sweet banana & date, milk chocolate, dark fudge. Earthy hops, dried fruits, warming whisky alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Delicious.

Rancid butter, margarine, wheat, old bread. Sweet-sourish wheat, white bread & butter. Wheaty, buttery finish. Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Bad batch or something was seriously wrong with these taps.

Old rosé wine, lemon zest, Hoegaarden Rosé. Sourish rosé wine, lime, vague cherry. Tart, bit bitter cherry pit. Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Not much going on here.

Nagenoeg zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm en zoet met iets van chokolade, hazelnoot, room, wat vanille en een vleug rum om het compleet te maken. Heel erg goed wat mij betreft.

75 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ home, bought @ Plus.
Dark brown to black with a thin off-white head. Roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma but sadly enough also massive amount of blue cheese. It's as if a round of gorgonzola fell into the bottle and dissolved. Clearly(?) an infection but I don't even know what would cause this as it is unlike anything I tasted before in beer. A shame for a Meesterstuk (Masterpiece) but I know Jopen can and will do better.

Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm en bitterzoet met iets van chocolade, wat koffie, een heel lichte rooksmaak en wat toffee.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van zoete tropische vruchten, mango en passievrucht. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet en hoppig bitter.
