Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lace. Cinnamon, malt and caramel aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of pumpkin pie spice and malt. The finish is sweet with a malt and cinnamon aftertaste. Decent overall.

At the brewery: pours golden copper whatever with a white head. Aroma is somewhat piny, light citrusy notes, some mellow earthiness. Body is pretty smooth. Not too bitter in any sense. Pine and light fruitiness is there, but nothing too crazy or complex. Not bad. A pleasant beer and refreshing enough.

Some paper and a hint of barley but that’s reaching. Pours golden with OK head. Light crisp finish. Nothing going on here, even for a kolsch. Tap at NY Beer Company waiting for a bus.

Draught @ Albion. Pale yellow with small white foamy head that disappeared even before tasting the beer! ash-like aroma, low carbonation, thin watery body, slight honey taste, abrupt finish. Not a remarkable beer at all.

Pours slightly unclear yellow . Scent is a bit hop, but mostly malts . Taste as well has very aromatic malts , together with some hoparoma undertone . Nice and balanced, easy drinkable beer . Not really bitter as well

[ As Chelsea Hop Angel IPA ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet fruit, malt, moderate hoppy, tropical fruit, cheese. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, hoppy, fruity, tropical fruit, peach, tart fruit, cheese. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140118]

Pours clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, pine. Taste is light sweet, light sour and light bitter with a dry citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

A clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. It’s lighlty sourish in the aroma, fruity and with a citrusy touch and some pine cones. The flavor is a tad too sourish, not very pleasant though. Some pale malts and a touch of pine cones and citrus peel. Medium body, quite dry and effervescent. Lasting finish. Quite pleasant in a way this one, but it’s far from what I would recognise as an IPA. 140118
