Bottle sample, many thanks Nische! Clear honey color. Aroma is strawberries, maoam-like, quite perfumey, honey. Taste is more balanced, strawberries, mild honey and booze with a touch of tartness for balance. Oily mouthfeel. Good one!

Bottle from SB, 2+ years in cellar. Clear, pale yellow. Candy strawberries, unripe strawberries, red apple skin. Quite refreshing tartness. Really dig it!

ABV: 11.4%. Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, nectar, herbs, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, honey, nectar, herbs - herbal, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. 12oz bottle from Appalachian Vinter. NB goblet @ home. Opaque, iced tea-colored brew, soft head. Strong, wafting scent of roasted malt & pine. Taste is bittersweet upfront, drying out as it goes. Lemon -> malt -> hops -> pine -> honey -> malt -> twigs. Only as harsh as your standard piney ipa, just less flavorful. Sappy, thin texture, with subtle but foamy carbonation. It's okay. Rather have a Celebration this time of year. Add more honey & make it interesting.
