Bottle from The Beerhive (2013) and cans from Great Grog (2024) and Margiotta (2025). Deep golden body with a faint haze and an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of malted barley, copper penny, white pepper and earth. Flavour of peppery earth, bready malt and a crisp, hoppy finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A tasty Kellerbier with a nice peppery aftertaste.

50 cl bottle. Kind of silly not taking any notes after drinking 5 or 6 of this one.

Old rating from 11-03-16 - 500ml flip top bottle brought from Kris Wines in Islington, London. Pours a clear amber colour with a thick off white head which leaves lacing. Aromas of amber malt, honey & caramel. Tastes is dry, nutty, and savoury with flavours of honey, bread & caramel leading to nice bittersweet hopped tail. Overall, this is a great beer & reminds me I need a return visit to Munich!
