Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.
Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear pale yellow with a rough, white head. Lovely hop aroma, somewhat perfumy. Medium body, a dry maltiness with a perfumy hoppiness that really lasts throughout. Lovely. 300514

Flaska från Mikkeller&Friends. Gyllengul klar vätska, vitt lågt skum. Stiltypisk belgisk saison med mycket karaktär. Torr, krispig och lite oljig munkänsla. Kryddig, fruktig, jästig, estrig i trevlig kombination. Jordig, gräsig och örtig, vitpepper, nejlika, lätt pepprig och gräsig beska, lätt tropisk fruktighet. Fin smakbild. Mycket god

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is dried fruits and caramel. Taste is somewhat sweet, but not cloying or anything like that. Pretty simple beer, but well pulled off without some of the off-putting features of the style.

355ml bottle @ Kitty’s,Hki. Yellow color, hazy, thick lacing head. Hoppy nose, wheat, mild spicy notes. Flavor has wheat, citrus fruit, hops. Decent bitterness, dry, long citrusy finish. Refreshing, balanced.

Disappointing in comparison to other beers Two Roads has produced. A harsh tasting bourbon ale with a bitter edge, not something I would try again.

Nydelig duft av friske citrusfrukter og noe honning. Dunkel gul farge. Tynt lag hvitt skum. Frisk smak av citrus med en syrlig ettersmak.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. A small, tan head leaves some lacings over a dark brown body. The aroma has some licorice and a touch of dark chocolate, with coffee and roasted malts playing the major parts. It’s bitter and sweet on the palate, with some alcohol warmth. Licorice, dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts too. It’s full-bodied and with a nice carbonation. A tad sweet in the finish I think, but it’s a tasteful and repeatable beer I’d love to see once more. 140501

Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with licorice and a touch of meaty smoke. Dry and roasted flavour with some licorice character, and lots of hops. A touch of alcohol, but still easy drinking
