Brewpub Brasserie Hanze-Stadsbrouwerij werd in 2006 opgericht door
Gerrit en Elice Wolf

In maart 2013 werd de naam van de Hanze-Stadsbrouwerij gewijzigd in Stadsbrouwerij Cambrinus.

Per 1 mei 2022 heeft de brouwerij haar deuren als horecagelegenheid gesloten, de brouwactiviteiten werden voortgezet onder de naam Copperz maar met nieuwe eigenaars.

Draught, 8%. Clear dark brown colour. Very small head. Good nutty flavour, hazelnut. Also a little spicy and roasted. Good.

Draught, 4.8%. Spicy aroma. Hazy brown colour, small creamy head. The flavour is spicy like the aroma, probably from the hops. Does taste like an Altbier.

Draught, 9.1% at the brewpub. Weak spicy aroma. Hazy shiny yellow colour. Small creamy white head. The flavour is peppery and quite malty, has a little vegetable, but no more than is common in a tripel. Peppery aftertaste.

Draught, 5.6% at the brewpub. Buttery, dusty aroma. Hazy brown amber colour. Small creamy head. Quite a lot of butter in the flavour, citric finish. Does not taste infected as such, but not very pleasant.

Draught, 5.3% at the brewpub. Phenolic aroma. The flavour is better though, spicy and citrus. There is a hint of plastic in the finish, but not too bad. Hazy yellow colour. Small white head.

Draught, 6.5% at the brewpub. Spicy aroma, black pepper and clove. Hazy yellow colour, small creamy white head. The flavour is also spicy, has a little acidic bitterness.

From tap at the brewpub, 4.8%. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown with a creamy and light tan head. Light acidic and vague butterish aroma with a mild spice note and roasted malt. Roasted malty and slight spiced flavoured with a mild acidity into the finish. Ends spiced and light acidic.

From tap at the brewpub, 7.8%. Pours clear and deep golden brown with a small and tan head. Roasted malty and mild spiced aroma. Mild sweetend flavour with a light acidic note from the roasted malt. Subdued spice note coming through.

From tap at the brewpub as Broedertje Dubbel, 8%. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a small diminished off-white head. Aroma is sooth roasted caramel malty with a very minor butterish note. Sweet caramel malty as main flavour impression. Light spiced too. Mild sweet finish with a light acidic roasted note lasting into the far finish.

From tap at the brewpub as Drogenap Tripel, 9%. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Dry malty and spiced aroma. Mild fruity yeasty and light spiced. On the mild sweetend side. Ends sweet and light fruity yeasty.
