We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Keg at The Hive Crowthorne, 18th September 2021. Pours with a slight haze. Aroma is lemons, citrus. Taste is quite sharp, citrus, lemon, sherbert, verging on a little tart. Nice

It is what it promises to be. Soft, smooth and rich milky chocolate stout. Light coffee, tons of chocolate, vanilla, and traces of nuts. Unbelievably smooth, drinks like a 6% with the body of a 10% and an ABV of 15+. Crazy.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coconut, vanilla, caramel, roasted, taste is chewy caramel, chocolate, dry coconut, creamy, quite bitter and dry.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a burnt orange with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee. Taste is bitter, light fruits, rich malts, toffee, caramel.

26/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear copper amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, biscuit, fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry biscuit finish. Decent bitter.

25/8/2021. Keg at the Briarbank August Beer Festival. Pours thick, black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of peanut brittle, hazelnut, milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cocoa, malted chocolate, biscuit. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Full body, creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Sweetness is deceiving. Rich and delicious.

25/8/2021. Keg at the Briarbank August Beer Festival. Pours thick murky peachy brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is dank, peach, apricot, citrus, pineapple, passion fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, smooth creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Keg at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, treacle toffee, chocolate pudding, vanilla, profiteroles, coconut toffee,nuts. Taste is all the above x2. Rich sweet boozy finish. Good god yes!
