500ml Bottle - Amber/brown in colour. Fruity aroma with some sweet notes and the pine needles also noticeable. Sweet, malty taste with honey and fruit and a light tangy element on the tongue. Interesting stuff and worth trying again.

Bottle. It pours a nice, hazy, golden-orange body with a decent off-white head. Spices and wheat in the aroma which is completely dominated by ginger. Too much in my opinion, as it leaves a soapy impression. The ginger is dominant initially in the flavor, followed by a general spicyness, wheat, malt and a little bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant co2 level. I like the concept of putting ginger in the saison, but the amount in this beer seriously affected the drinkability. Decent beer though, and somehow quenching. (Bottled, BB 061208). Pinky red-ruby color, small beige head. Fruits and berries, honey and yeast in the nose. Medium to almost upper-medium body. Quite yeasty, almost Nogne O -like yeasting. Caramel malts, some hops, spicey note, hops plus brown sugar. Light lingering hops in the aftertaste. I would not call this dunkel.

Bottled, thanks Ungstrup! Clear golden, mid sized head. Strong aroma of ginger and lemony washing up liquid. Sweet and medium bodied with bold clumsy malt character, syrupy sticky sweetenss and a terrible all overpowering ginger/lemon flavour.

Bottle: Clear, but many floaties visible, small beige foamy layer, sweet nutty and toasty nose; solid sweet-spicy flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; christmas spices in the lingering sweet-bitter, light alcoholic finish. Good, nourishing Ale............
