Holmfirth 'Last Of The Summer Wine' Tour & Bar Crawl, Beer#9. Clear golden coloured decent looking German lager. Had this one in a venue close to the river Holme, which features prominently in the TV series. This flowing water is nothing to write about though, drinkable but average - or standard stuff if you prefer. Clean and crisp lager though if you want to emphasise its qualities.

0.33 l bottle, best before December 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, a little floral aroma of grains, some straw and light corn flakes. Medium sweet, moderately bitter, slightly dry taste of grains, some straw and light corn flakes, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
