Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Pours black with not too much head. A little hard and harsh at first in the mouth but then a nice dark bitter chocolate comes flooding through on a bed of dark fruit. Hops show along with a light creamy vanillayness, its nice but I wonder if I am gradually going off big Impy stouts. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

GBBF. Cask. Cloudy brown beer, no head. Smooth low carbonation palate, semi dry. Caramel malt with mild orange hop. Semi dry finish with a malty aftertaste. Actually enquired if this was mislabelled but it wasn’t - the cask label confirmed it. An odd beer - possibly suffered some in transit.
