Draft @ the brewpub. Brown color into the pint. Small white colored head. Some spots of lace. Nose of light roast, nuts, and caramel. Hints of pure grain and a dash of hops. You can pick out the German hops, very Eastern European. Medium body with light bitterness in the finish. I liked this brew. It’s a nice example of the style.

Draft @ the brewpub. Dark gold poor with a small white head, no lace down the pint. Aroma of sweet malt and light grain. The only real note here is the mouthfeel. It has a creamy, smooth malt flavor. And it’s easy to drink. But it as basic as you can get. It’s a nice warm-up, but nothing with much flavor.

Clear golden coloured body with a hint of a copper glow and a thin, fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of oranges, light malt, caramel, yeast, strong coriander seed, citrus and much more curacao! Medium-bodied; Effervescent up front with a lot of yeast and curacao showing and a good malt backbone, some light lemons and a dash of wheat to keep it light. Aftertaste shows a ton of spices, curacao and coriander seed to make it very true to the style with a lingering, yet nice aftertaste. Overall, a very nice beer that shows well, is complex and is very light and refreshing in hot weather! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Colonial Spirits in Acton, Massachusetts on 23-September-2010 sampled at home in Washington on 19-July-2011.
