Pours deep mahogany into a stem glass. Mocha head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Dark caramel and dusty cocoa aromas. Thin with mild overripe banana and dark chocolate upfront turning to bitter caramel in the doughy finish.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Sweetness on the aroma must be maple, but hard to pinpoint. Vanilla. Not very porter-y. Taste has very light roast character, more sweet sugar than anything. Not great.
Bottle. Sweet maple nose, sweet chocolate, bit thin, some fruit and maple.

Bottle courtesy of Craig at Craigs doing a Chris O tasting, Edingburgh (ta for the beer Craig) Saturday 15th March Pours dark brown, not totally my thing if truth be told. Light beige some ruby glints, a little toffee fruity, it’s fine a bit thin, its ok but not really my thing. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

22oz bottle-offwhite-copper. A-caramel-med malt, some nutty, some herbal. T-caramel-med malt, some nutty, some herbal hops. A bit long in the tooth, so would like to try fresh if done again.
