440 ml can, as Polly's Fake It Pale Ale, from Left Field Beer; England. ABV is 5.1%. Hazy pale straw colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus, hay and pine. Flavour of citrus and pine needles. Okay.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth if fairly light bodied pale malts, a pleasant creamy sweetness. Hops bring cooling pine. A refreshing edge of bitterness into light savoury skunk. Light but reasonably juicy hop fruits, fairly broad spectrum, no surprise given the hop bill. Rounded citrus and stone fruits, lesser tropical fruits. Very mild hop spice. Light finish. Comes together well. For me, there is an inherent rightness to this dipa.

Can. A light haze on this slightly yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Hops bring light pine. A little hop spice. A nice edge of bitterness combines well with juicy citrus and slightly ripe stone fruits, touch of yellow grapefruit. Mild skunk on the light finish. Took awhile to get into this but it was definitely worth it.

Draught keg at Polly's Social, Mold. Light yellow/gold, hazy with a large pillow white head. Big apricot aroma, a little pineapple, with a lovely malt note. Tastes wonderful, sweet at first with stone fruit almost being edged out but the biscuity malt. Bitterness later on, more citrus hop character, leading to a balanced finish. Creamy body with carbonation impressively dialled back.

Pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasty aroma. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice notes, cacao nibs, bit of coffee. Pretty good.
