Description
Since launching in early 2018 we have grown and adapted our setup to form a small but tight-knit team of six running the day to day operations of the brewery – Founder Sean, Head brewer Lally, Assistant Brewers Scott, Guy and Matt; And head of sales Arron.
Our motto is to never stop improving; we’re always learning and tweaking our beer designs to create the best beer we possibly can, packaged into only kegs and cans to optimise freshness and keep our beer tasting as fresh as it does from the source.

21st March 2026
Can. A mild haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light and mildly dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Savoury hop intro, mild hop spice. Light cooling pine into that piney and slightly resinous broad spectrum hop fruitiness that is very much Idaho 7. Doesn't have the fruity punch and sometime bitterness on Galaxy but, they are cousins in my head if unrelated hop gene wise. Soft finish leaves a resinous hop fruity and slightly spicy bitter linger. Nice one.

I ditched my jumper today due to the unseasonably warm March weather. This stout isn't quite full enough to be a seasonal warmer, but it's steady, with smoothish roasted available in both aroma and taste and a blast of chocolate to compliment.

440 ml can, as Polly's Still Cool Pale Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.7%. Hazy and very pale yellow colour, huge white head. Aroma of pineapple and canned peaches, a hint of pine. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour with the same elements as the aroma, resinous and fairly bitter finish.
