Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Can shared in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours cloudy gold with a frothy, white head. Dank hops in the nose, ripening citrus, dried pale malts. Light sweet flavour with flinty minerals, rindy bitterness, tangerine, pithy grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Flinty and cleansing on the finish, with more rindy citrus, pith, pine. Not bad overall.

The taste is crisp, bitter, juicy, pithy, apricot, creamy mango, papaya, passion fruit, grassy, some dankness, pine and some alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. All comes together very well. Tasty stuff.

Can. Little Leeds Beer House. 6.5%. Murky, dirty gold. Film and ring of sticky, off white head. Nose has earthy, stone fruit hop. Some grapefruit rind. Some pineapple core. Ice cream wafer backdrop. Taste is dirty, earthy bitter, with lots of stone fruit stickiness. Smoothie type mouthfeel. Nicely pulpy and juicy. Long, earthy bitter finish. Very tasty. Drop the earthy thing and it’s a blinder.
