BBT visits Vienna. Tap at Hawidere. Medium body, medium carbo. High bitterness, medium juicy sweetness. A bit cereal. Shitloads of tropical, new world, white wine character. Very tasty, very good.

From tap @ Hawidere Bier Burger Bar @ Drang nach Wien. Head medium, off-white, average retention. Colour is gold, hazy. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed.

Tap at Winter Affair. 6.8% Murky brown body, no notes about the head. Coffee dominates the aroma, quite okay, unremarkable but fine. Lean, dry coffee-driven taste, my notes trailing away - to be rerated perhaps, but I wasn't too thrilled.

Can. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is solid sweetish hops, dash of onions. Taste is mild rice, not completely clean, nice body, tropical stuff. Juicy mouthfeel. Tasty!

Almost clear, dark brownish to black color and a tan head. Nose is malty, roasty, liquorice, lovage. Sweet malty taste, caramel, chocolate, dried fruits, liquorice, faint vanilla. Finish is a battle of sweet malts and woody astringens.

Hazy, pale golden color and a nice white head. Fruity nose, tropical mango and passionfruit. Smooth mouthfeeling. Bitterfruity start, juicy tropical fruits, vanilla. Bittersweet fruity hops, dry finish. Nice.

0.5l bottle thanks to my brother. Slightly opaque yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of grape must, oak and apple juice with some light pepper and barnyard notes. Nice one.
