Description
Blind Enthusiasm is driven by our passion for great beer and fine food. We brew three distinct types of beer at two locations in Edmonton. We brew crisp ales and lagers as well as complex barrel-aged beers at the Market, located alongside our restaurant, Biera. At The Monolith we’re running one of largest barrel-fermented beer programs in Canada.

It's got that dull peachy colour. No head. The aroma is lightly fruity. On the palate, the cider comes through first, then the peach, and there's brett throughout with barrel. Good balance, but compared with the other Uncommon ones it's not one of the better ones.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of mixed bugs, some husky toasted grains, soft peaches, and light acidity. Flavour has gentle peaches, light-to-moderate acidity, black pepper, toasted grains, and of course a nice funkiness. Very dry, moderately bitter, peppery finish. Definitely not one of the Blind Enthusiasm’s best, but it’s a respectable effort.

750mL bottle. Pours a murky dirty golden blonde with not much head. Musty, juicy peaches, and mildew on the nose. Flavour has musty mildew, mothballs, earthy funk, and a juicy peach character. Great depth and funk, continues to improve as it warms up.

Amber, chill haze. Definitely a gueuzey nose with leather and bugs. Less gueuzey on the palate, more malt, good bugs, a touch lemony, bit of wood and decent complexity. Am i getting a little red wine barrel?

Hazy, apple, tart, good body, slight tartness, the apple skins coming through, balanced, mellow apple character over good pale malt base.

Opaque, pale pink. Juniper, bitter, fresh, touch acidic. Nice curranty and more bitterness than many other Blind Enthusiasm wild ales.
